Black Parenting is an integral part of parenting
all over the
world. The main reason why the theme of black parenting being that
crucial is that now there are fusty stereotypes kept by certain
societies or members who have a preconceived attitude towards black
people. This is really strange, especially if one takes into account
how long ago this problem was solved. But some people care their
prejudices in such a frightening manner, that they even
inculcate
those non-adequate ideas into their children. It can be that mixed
couples and black
dating white cases are treated unkindly, but what about
children? Do they deserve it? No, they don't.
That's why black parenting should be looked after with great attention.
Black parents should be very careful when bringing up their kids. This
means that kids will be prepared to repulse unfair attacks on them.
It's better to give sufficient notice to children, this will make them
safe
in a way.
The book of Jeffrey Archer 'Prodigal Daughter' is about the same
situation. Though the main character was no black girl, yet a Polish.
She wasn't aware that there was any difference between her and other
kids in her school. Until a school mate once called the girl, 'a
stupid Polac'. She didn't know what the words meant, but still realized
they were offensive. The girl came back home, and her parents decided
that she should go to another school. But you see, the problem is that
even in another school, kids can abuse the girl because of her origins.
Is there anything bad in her origins? Surely, no. But kids can be rude.
They don't know why they act in such a bad manner towards other kids
who are a bit different from themselves, but they get it from their
families, from their parents, and from stupid shows or films.
In modern societies there is a principle of equality for citizens,
without taking into account where a person may come from, what language
he or she may speak, or what a color of the skin may be. Still black
children often suffer racial abuse in a school, at a yard, even in a
kindergarten. Time has changed, but some people haven't. Unfortunately.
The main objective of black parenting to inform their kids
about
a probable attitude and teach black kids to react in the right
way. This will protect them.
A great many countries have black parenting programs that help parents
to bring up their kids in a proper way that will keep
them safe.
Maybe it's people or kids who abuse black children should go to a
specially organized courses?
